After 20 years of transforming learning in traditional classrooms, I now bring that same passion for education to corporate environments as an Instructional Designer. My journey from high school English teacher to learning strategist reflects a deep commitment to helping people grow—whether they're teenagers discovering literature or executives developing leadership skills.

My approach blends pedagogical and andragogical principles—I was applying adult learning theory with teenagers before I knew the term existed. This experience taught me that effective learning design must honor both the structure younger learners need and the autonomy adult learners demand.

I believe in creating learner-centered experiences that don't just transfer information, but genuinely enhance how people think and work. With my Instructional Design certification and expertise in Articulate Storyline, plus a strategic approach to integrating AI tools that enhance rather than replace human connection, I craft interactive modules that engage learners and drive measurable outcomes.

What sets me apart is my ability to recognize when adult learners need scaffolding like younger students, and when they need the autonomy to drive their own discovery—then design accordingly. Whether serving as teacher or student, I approach every project as a thoughtful designer who understands that the best education happens when we meet learners where they are and guide them where they need to go.
