Instructional Designer specializing in scenario-based corporate training and AI-enhanced learning design.

I create learning experiences that change behavior, not just transfer information. My approach combines systematic instructional design models with deep expertise in adult learning science, drawn from 20 years of designing learning for diverse populations including first-generation college students, neurodivergent learners, and multilingual audiences.

What I bring to corporate L&D:

Learner-centered design: I design for how adults actually learn—building on existing knowledge, requiring immediate relevance, and needing autonomy over their learning path. My background teaching autonomous young adults (15-18 year olds) translates directly to designing for professional learners who demand practical application and respect for their expertise.

Behavior change expertise: Effective training changes what people do, not just what they know. I specialize in scenario-based learning, coaching skill development, and designing for emotional engagement—the instructional challenges that require sophisticated ID, not template application.

AI-enhanced instructional design: I leverage AI as a strategic partner in the design process while maintaining the irreplaceable human expertise in learning science, needs analysis, and assessment design. 

Accessibility and inclusion: My experience designing for neurodivergent learners, English language learners, and students with varied learning profiles informs my commitment to universal design principles and accessible learning experiences.
